Manisa Celal Bayar University Graduate School of Social Sciences was established on June 20th 1982 in accordance with the article 18/h of the governmental decree in force of law No. 41 dated 22.06.1992 on the Council of Higher Education and commenced its academic life in the very Fall Semester of 1993-1994 Academic Year.

MCBU Graduate School of Social Sciences proceds its academic teaching and reserach activities under the framework of the previously stated legislation and ‘CBU Graduate Studies’ Regulations’

The Graduate School of Social Sceiences has been offering both MA and Ph.D. degree programs in Public Finance, Management, Economics and History. The School also serves only MA programs in Educational Sciences, Turkish Language and Literature and English Language and Literature. The institution will also begin its MA degree in Public Administration in the months to come.
